Who would ever have thought that Sydney summer is nearly over! The weather has been amazing and I have swapped all my black staples for white this week. I have just come back from a casting for an exciting new TV show that I can’t wait to share with you guys. It is in its very early stages so who knows if it will go ahead. I am also excited to be shooting for Shop Til You Drop magazine on Friday. Lots of exciting things on the cards at the moment… Hope your week is going well! Xx Ps like my nails? haha I went for one green one this week!

I’m not sure what’s better.. the thought of a juicy slice of watermelon right now or the eye-popping red of this sweater. Either way, this melon’s flesh has got me craving some sweet red.
Seriously though, how awesome is this sweater? I recently discovered Shelfies who have one mission with their label…. to make clothes that will make people smile. I wore this jumper all weekend in Palm Beach (my boyfriend surprised me with a romantic weekend away) and I am not sure if it was the jumper or if people were just more relaxed there but everyone was smiling at me all weekend = )

When it comes to style, settling for the straight and narrow is definitely the safe and easy option. Magazines are always going to tell us what we should be wearing for our particular body shapes, the latest colours that are trending each season and the right way to look but I have always admired those who take risks and bend the rules of fashion.
Take for instance Lizzy Gardiner when she made headlines with her famous credit card dress or Lady Gaga with her numerous frocks made from all kinds of crazy things. While I would never be caught dead in any outfit Lady Gaga wears (remember when she wore a dress made entirely of meat?… um yuck!), I have to admit I do admire the way they can dress like that and still ooze confidence and be so self assured.
I used look at girls who wore headpieces and think “I could never pull that off – I would feel ridiculous with something on my head”. However, over the last couple of years I have learnt to feel more comfortable channeling my inner style. So today the little hippy inside me is coming out to play and I am wearing this boho inspired headpiece and multicoloured rainbow art nails.

It is one of those perfect days (in terms of the weather of course)… and I am in the mood for some colour! I forgot I owned these shoes but when I saw the lime tinge peeking through I decided they would go perfectly with todays threads. Busy day ahead and I have a close friends b’day tonight but I think this outfit will get me through to tonight- oh and I have some sandals in the bag just incase the feet get sore!

This weekend was a crazy one! I went to Future Music Festival on Saturday with a bunch of friends (more about that and my outfit later), on a friends boat, celebrated a gf’s b’day at the Watsons Bay hotel and am currently sitting on my balcony star gazing after having a spa… what a weekend!
On Friday night I wore these lightweight printed pants. The ‘Dawn Floral Pants’ are tailored with pockets and a flattering tapered leg… so comfy and perfect for Autumn! In other news it is my b’day coming up this Thursday. I was very keen to let the day go unnoticed but my friends began planning a surprise party so to avoid any “surprises” I ended up organising my own party…. nek minute I had invited 250 people. Should be interesting! Xx

I cannot believe tomorrow is the last day of 2013. This year was a big one for me… finally graduating from commerce law and being admitted to the bar as an official solicitor, partying, shopping up a storm, beaching, boating, blogging and ending the year in beautiful Thailand… this year has hands down been the best year of my life. To celebrate what has been a colourful and incredible 365 days, I teamed up with Templestones. The sacred little pieces of jewellery I am wearing are all handmade using ritual, prayer and mantra. I love the colours and the bold statement they make despite being so delicate. Happy New Year and thanks so much for all the support in 2013! Xx

How cute is this ‘Pretty in Pink dress? It features a bold graphic print and cool detailed neckline. I styled it with black heels and my favourite Givenchy handbag to finish off the look. Thank god Spring his sprung! Loving this gorgeous weather and being able to wear dresses again!

The detailing on this bag…. agh I die! No words. It is a true piece of art. Emilio Pucci just nail it every single time. I decided to keep things simple today but accessorise to give the outfit that little bit of extra impact it needed! I am loving these new Mavi black jeans though… perfect for day/night and so comfy!

I don’t normally post my instagram images on my blog but this is an exception. What a month it has been …. Sydney has truly turned it up and I think I can safely say this has been my best summer yet…. (big call I know)! I have been having the time of my life beaching, boating, traveling and hanging out with my friends. I couldn’t help but share a few of my favourite moments with you guys. Xx

This past month I have been busy designing my own range of rings for a luxury jewellery business based in Melbourne Australia – Gemjoli. I have always loved accessories and for as long as I can remember I have worn more than 8 rings plus on my hands! Yes… that means several stacker rings on any given finger, midi rings, thumb rings and everything in-between. So when Gemjoli offered me this opportunity I jumped at it! At last my creations were sent to me and I got to feature them in today’s outfit post! You guys can design your own rings and custom make your jewellery on this site too. Gemjoli has changed the traditional brick and mortar shopping experience and you can personalise all your jewellery to suit exactly your preferences. My favourite ring that I designed is this XENA 18 carat yellow gold ring. It is bright, bold and beautiful and the central gemstone is round and radiant.
In other news… how cute is this outfit from MLM the Label? I discovered this designer last week and ordered these structured floral-embossed brocade fabric shorts and sheer shoulder blouse in Ivory. I also joined the Colette Clique last week which means I will be featuring lots of gorgeous accessories from one of my go-to one stop shops for accessories… Colette by Colette Hayman.
