I have spent (what feels like) a lifetime pounding the pavement searching for the perfect clutch. The right shape, quality, size, colour, stitching and inner lining just never seems to be right. Perhaps sick of following me in to far too many stores, the search is finally over and my boyfriend has solved the problem! He discovered a company called MonPurse which is a website where you create your own perfect bag. Ummm why hasn’t anyone mastered this sooner? It seems so obvious right? Kids can build their own teddy bears, we can customize our Nike shoes and Shoes of Prey enables us to design our own shoes… but until recently there hasn’t been anyone mastering the “design your own bag” concept! Until now. Oh and did I mention you can get your initials monogrammed on the bag? Ahhh I actually nearly died and went to bag heaven when this beauty arrived.
Clearly I am a little obsessed with customizing just about everything. literally engrave or monogram anything I can and love having one off pieces that are unique so when I came across the Coordinates Collection I had to have one! The Coordinates Co llection offers beautiful bracelets, rings and necklaces that represent your individual style and are tailored to you. You can customize the jewelry with your unique coordinates, location and even engrave on the inside. I really love this concept. I got the coordinates of Sydney on mine and chose the “Legend” style in gold”. In other news, I start a new job on Monday and they are sending me to London in my second week for training! Looking forward to squeezing in a little bit of shopping on the weekend and will no doubt bring home some new pieces which I will share with you guys.

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of posting. I have been away in Byron Bay for my brothers wedding! So much to blog about that (and what I wore to the wedding) but in the mean while I have been keeping things tropical wearing this top, shorts, bracelet and shoes from the Sleeveless Society. This little gem of a store has a collection of vintage clothing and accessories imported from around the world. Seriously though… how cute are these rainbow sandal shoes?

I have had so much fun the last couple of days playing tourist while my boyfriends mum is in town. We went to the St George outdoor cinema at Mrs Macquarie Road and watched a film under the stars, visited the art gallery and last night saw a show at the Opera House. Off to Noosa for Australia Day long weekend coming up which I cannot wait for and then my brothers wedding in Byron Bay! So much going on right now but I managed to shoot this outfit post on Friday…. these are the most comfortable heels I have ever put on my feet… (just saying)!

How cute is this Moschino clutch? I spotted it in a little vintage store down the road from my house called The Sleeveless Society. The store specialises in vintage clothing and stocks unique one off pieces. The best part is all their accessories are imported from around the world so it is unlikely you will see anyone else with the same piece as you. It is actually an online store (launching in a few weeks time) but you can shop in store at the showroom if you spot something you love online and like me prefer trying things on.
Sorry for being a little MIA lately! I have so many gorgeous pieces that I may have sneakily bought myself over Xmas that are waiting to be blogged… think KENZO, Alexander Wang and I was very naughty and may have purchased a designer hand bag…. to be revealed shortly ; )

I’m not sure what’s better.. the thought of a juicy slice of watermelon right now or the eye-popping red of this sweater. Either way, this melon’s flesh has got me craving some sweet red.
Seriously though, how awesome is this sweater? I recently discovered Shelfies who have one mission with their label…. to make clothes that will make people smile. I wore this jumper all weekend in Palm Beach (my boyfriend surprised me with a romantic weekend away) and I am not sure if it was the jumper or if people were just more relaxed there but everyone was smiling at me all weekend = )

When it comes to style, settling for the straight and narrow is definitely the safe and easy option. Magazines are always going to tell us what we should be wearing for our particular body shapes, the latest colours that are trending each season and the right way to look but I have always admired those who take risks and bend the rules of fashion.
Take for instance Lizzy Gardiner when she made headlines with her famous credit card dress or Lady Gaga with her numerous frocks made from all kinds of crazy things. While I would never be caught dead in any outfit Lady Gaga wears (remember when she wore a dress made entirely of meat?… um yuck!), I have to admit I do admire the way they can dress like that and still ooze confidence and be so self assured.
I used look at girls who wore headpieces and think “I could never pull that off – I would feel ridiculous with something on my head”. However, over the last couple of years I have learnt to feel more comfortable channeling my inner style. So today the little hippy inside me is coming out to play and I am wearing this boho inspired headpiece and multicoloured rainbow art nails.

Who would ever have thought that Sydney summer is nearly over! The weather has been amazing and I have swapped all my black staples for white this week. I have just come back from a casting for an exciting new TV show that I can’t wait to share with you guys. It is in its very early stages so who knows if it will go ahead. I am also excited to be shooting for Shop Til You Drop magazine on Friday. Lots of exciting things on the cards at the moment… Hope your week is going well! Xx Ps like my nails? haha I went for one green one this week!

It is one of those perfect days (in terms of the weather of course)… and I am in the mood for some colour! I forgot I owned these shoes but when I saw the lime tinge peeking through I decided they would go perfectly with todays threads. Busy day ahead and I have a close friends b’day tonight but I think this outfit will get me through to tonight- oh and I have some sandals in the bag just incase the feet get sore!

This weekend was a crazy one! I went to Future Music Festival on Saturday with a bunch of friends (more about that and my outfit later), on a friends boat, celebrated a gf’s b’day at the Watsons Bay hotel and am currently sitting on my balcony star gazing after having a spa… what a weekend!
On Friday night I wore these lightweight printed pants. The ‘Dawn Floral Pants’ are tailored with pockets and a flattering tapered leg… so comfy and perfect for Autumn! In other news it is my b’day coming up this Thursday. I was very keen to let the day go unnoticed but my friends began planning a surprise party so to avoid any “surprises” I ended up organising my own party…. nek minute I had invited 250 people. Should be interesting! Xx

I cannot believe tomorrow is the last day of 2013. This year was a big one for me… finally graduating from commerce law and being admitted to the bar as an official solicitor, partying, shopping up a storm, beaching, boating, blogging and ending the year in beautiful Thailand… this year has hands down been the best year of my life. To celebrate what has been a colourful and incredible 365 days, I teamed up with Templestones. The sacred little pieces of jewellery I am wearing are all handmade using ritual, prayer and mantra. I love the colours and the bold statement they make despite being so delicate. Happy New Year and thanks so much for all the support in 2013! Xx
